The algebra group at the University of Milan covers a broad range of topics including

- p-adic Hodge theory;
- algebraic cycles and L-functions;
- arithmetic of modular and automorphic forms;
- motives & motivic homotopy theory;
- logarithmic and rigid analytic geometry;
- algebraic & analytic number theory.

Use of categorical methods for the study of non-abelian homological algebra. In particular, study of the 2-categorical aspects of non-abelian cohomology, categorical Galois theory, non-abelian homological algebra relatively to classes of epimorphisms and in enriched categories.
